One Fine Plan — Cookies Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. About This Policy

This Cookies Policy explains how One Fine Plan Pty Ltd (ABN 18 699 081 304) (One Fine Plan, we, us, or our) uses cookies and similar technologies on the website at onefineplan.com and in the One Fine Plan wedding planning application (together, the Platform).

It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally, and our Website Terms and Conditions.

We may update this policy from time to time by updating this page at onefineplan.com/cookiespolicy. We encourage you to review it periodically.

2. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to remember your choices between pages, and to provide information to the site's owner about how the site is used.

We also refer in this policy to similar technologies, such as browser local storage and tracking pixels, which perform comparable functions.

3. Your Choice

When you first visit onefineplan.com you are shown a banner asking whether you accept non-essential cookies. Nothing in the analytics or advertising categories below is loaded unless you accept.

Rejecting non-essential cookies does not limit your access to the Platform. Strictly necessary cookies are still set, because the Platform cannot function without them.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the website footer. Selecting it clears your saved choice and shows the banner again, so withdrawing consent is as straightforward as giving it.

4. Cookies We Use

4.1 Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the Platform to work. They are set whether or not you accept non-essential cookies, and cannot be switched off through our banner.

Cookie Purpose Duration
one_fine_plan_session Keeps you signed in and maintains your session as you move between pages. 2 hours
XSRF-TOKEN Protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Session
cookie_consent Remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, so you are not asked on every visit. 180 days
site_access Set only while the Platform is password protected before public launch, to remember that you have entered the access password. Session
site_token_… Set when a couple has password protected their wedding website, to remember that a guest has entered the correct password for that site. Session

4.2 Analytics and performance

These help us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it.

Our page analytics are provided by a self-hosted Umami instance. It is first party, anonymous and does not set cookies, so it runs whether or not you accept. It does not identify you.

The following are loaded only if you accept non-essential cookies.

Provider Purpose Typical cookies
Session replay Records an anonymised replay of interactions on a page, with sensitive fields masked, so we can see where the interface is confusing. Recordings are capped at 15 minutes. Run on our own infrastructure. Browser storage rather than cookies

4.3 Advertising

These allow us to measure whether our advertising works, and to show relevant advertising to people who have visited the Platform. They are loaded only if you accept non-essential cookies.

Provider Purpose Typical cookies
Meta (Facebook) Pixel Measures the results of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and supports audience targeting. _fbp, _fbc
TikTok Pixel Measures the results of our advertising on TikTok, and supports audience targeting. _ttp, ttclid

These providers may combine the information they collect with information they already hold about you. Their use of that information is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours.

5. Third Parties Who May Set Cookies

Some cookies are set by services we rely on rather than by us directly.

Payments. When you purchase a plan you are taken to a checkout page hosted by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies on that page for fraud prevention and payment security. We never see your full card details. Stripe's cookie use is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Security and delivery. Our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, may set cookies to protect the Platform from malicious traffic and to deliver content quickly.

Embedded content. Pages that embed content from another service, such as a video, may allow that service to set cookies. We do not control those cookies.

6. How Long Cookies Remain

Cookies are either session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain for a set period or until you delete them. The durations for our own cookies are listed in section 4.

7. Controlling Cookies in Your Browser

Beyond our own preferences control, every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies. Instructions are available in the help section of your browser.

Blocking all cookies will prevent parts of the Platform from working. In particular, you will not be able to stay signed in, and forms may fail to submit.

To opt out of interest-based advertising more broadly, you can use the tools published by the Digital Advertising Alliance, the Network Advertising Initiative, or your device's own advertising settings.
