Each item tracks three distinct amounts. The budget amount is what you plan to spend on that item. The quoted amount is the real-world figure you've been given by a supplier, allowing you to immediately see where your estimates are sitting against actual costs. The paid amount captures what you've already paid, so you can track deposits and outstanding balances across every item at a glance.

For items that are priced per head, such as catering or beverages, you can specify a per-person cost and the number of guests to apply it to and the tracker will calculate the total automatically. All other items can be set as a fixed price. This distinction keeps your figures accurate as your guest count evolves throughout the planning process.

One of the most useful features of the Budget Tracker is the auto-fill tool. When you first sign up, you'll input your overall wedding budget. Based on that figure, the tracker can automatically distribute suggested budget amounts across all of your items using a built-in calculation. This gives you an instant, realistic starting framework to work from. If your budget changes or you want to start fresh, you can clear the auto-filled values and reapply them with a new total at any time from within the tracker itself.

Across the top of the page, a live dashboard keeps your key financial figures visible at all times: your total budget, total quoted amount, the difference between the two, total amount paid so far and your overall payment progress.
