A well-planned timeline is what keeps your wedding day running smoothly. The Wedding Day Timeline feature gives you a structured, flexible space to map out every moment, from the first hair appointment of the morning through to the last dance of the night, so that everyone involved knows exactly where they need to be and when.
The timeline is divided into four sections. Getting Ready, Ceremony and Reception each come pre-loaded with a timed list of events that commonly occur throughout a wedding day, things like hair and makeup, getting ready photos, the ceremony processional, signing of the register, entrances, speeches, the first dance and the cutting of the cake. These give you a realistic starting framework that you can build from, rather than starting with a blank page. The fourth section, Custom, is left intentionally blank for anything that doesn't fit neatly into the other three categories, whether that's a pre-ceremony gathering, a post-reception afterparty, or anything else unique to your day.
Every event in the timeline includes a time, a name and a description. Each can be edited to reflect your specific schedule, deleted if it doesn't apply, or supplemented with new events you add yourself. Events can also be assigned to a person, either a guest already in your guest list, or simply a name you type in for someone who isn't a guest, such as your florist, photographer, or wedding coordinator. This makes it easy to see at a glance who is responsible for or involved in each moment of the day.
Above the four timeline sections, there are dedicated notes fields, one for the ceremony space and one for the reception space, where you can capture any setup instructions or important details you want to communicate to those helping on the day. Alongside this, a set of built-in timeline tips offers helpful guidance to assist you in putting together a realistic and well-paced schedule.
Once your timeline is finalised, export it as a PDF to share with your wedding party, coordinator, venue, or anyone else who needs to know how the day will run.
