Working out where everyone sits is one of the most notoriously tricky parts of wedding planning. The Table Seating Planner makes it as intuitive and stress-free as possible, giving you a visual, interactive way to arrange your guests without the chaos of spreadsheets or handwritten charts.
Setting up your tables is quick and flexible. When adding tables, you can choose how many to add in one go, select from round, square, rectangle, or oval shapes and set how many seats each table should have. Each table is then displayed as a column group on the page, with every row representing an individual seat. Your guests appear ready to be placed and from there it's simply a matter of dragging and dropping them into position.
Rearranging is just as easy. If you change your mind about where someone is sitting or want to shift the order of guests around a table, drag and drop them into a new position within the same table. Tables can be edited or deleted at any point as your plans evolve and adding new tables later is just as straightforward as the first time.
For those planning on mobile, a search and assign feature offers an equally smooth experience. Search through your guest list, check off the guests you want to add to a particular table and they'll be assigned to the available seats, no dragging required.
Dietary requirements and whether a guest is a child are displayed directly against each guest in the seating plan, so you and your venue always have that information clearly visible without needing to cross-reference another list. When you're ready to hand over the details to your venue, the full seating plan, including dietary requirements and child flags, can be exported as a CSV with a single tap.
Guests who have declined their invitation will not appear as available to be seated, keeping your plan clean and accurate as RSVPs come in.
Stat cards across the top of the page give you a running summary of your tables, total seats, how many guests have been seated and how many are still unassigned, so you always know exactly where things stand.
